Yoga Workshop Series for Folks in Plus Sized Bodies

The mat is a brave place of peace and compassionate self study. It is a space to explore your body as it is right now and listen to the information your body is giving you.

Have you ever been to a yoga class and felt discouraged because you could not do what was being instructed? Have you ever felt like yoga wasn’t for you because you haven’t seen a teacher with a plus sized body?

Here is your chance to explore all of the amazing things your body can do with the tool of yoga in a fun, supportive environment with self described fat yoga teacher, Kate Mosher (@matlikemirrors). This series will take place over 4 weeks, Sundays 2-4pm.

We will explore numerous commonly practiced postures using our curiosity and props to support our bodies. Each week we will break down seated, standing, balance, and floor poses, with the intention of empowering the participants to develop a tool kit to bring with them into all yoga classes moving forward.
